​Golden Web Retreat was created by artist and author Anna Ruth Henriques as a place where creativity, nature, and personal transformation come together. Anna is a Jamaican-born visual artist, writer, and jewelry designer whose work explores spirituality, authenticity, and self-empowerment. Her paintings are part of the permanent collections of institutions such as El Museo del Barrio and The Jewish Museum in New York, and The National Gallery of Jamaica. She is also the author and illustrator of The Book of Mechtilde. After living and working across cultures in the United States, Europe, and Japan, Anna created Golden Web Retreat in Portugal, a peaceful place where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience a deeper sense of balance and inspiration.
